Win luxury prizes and help save lives

A UK health charity is calling on the public to help save the lives of mothers and children across Sub-Saharan Africa and is offering the chance to win luxury prizes in return.

Spirit Health Foundation has launched a new charity prize draw to raise vital funds for life-saving healthcare programmes in underserved communities across Ethiopia, Kenya and Eswatini.

The need is urgent – every three minutes a woman dies from pregnancy or childbirth related causes in Sub-Saharan Africa. More than 7,000 children under the age of five die every day from preventable illnesses.

Spirit Health Foundation is working to change this by equipping local health workers with smart technology to deliver essential screenings and care in remote and underserved communities.

So far, the charity has supported over 90,000 people, with a particular focus on women and children. Over the next five years, Spirit Health Foundation aims to reach 30 million people with the life-saving healthcare they urgently need and just a 7p donation can fund a screening that could help save the life of a mother or child.

The draw goes live in mid-February and gives supporters the chance to win incredible prizes, while directly funding frontline healthcare where it’s needed most.

Prizes include:

·      Luxury stay at the five-star Rubens Hotel at the Palace – worth over £700

·      Winmau Pro-Level Darts Gift Set – worth £290

·      Burger & Lobster Dining Experience for Two – worth £200

·      Monica Vinader Gold Vermeil Bracelet – worth £100

·      Evolve Feel Good Facial Gift Set – worth £100

·      Ridgeline of New Zealand Clothing Voucher – worth £100

Entries start at £3 and every entry will help Spirit Health Foundation equip local health workers with the tools they need to detect health issues early and deliver life-saving care in some of the world’s most underserved communities.
