Researchers invited to showcase work at landmark event uniting healthcare specialisms
Submissions are now open for the dedicated Poster Zone at the inaugural CVRM Professional Care conference, with healthcare professionals specialising in cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CVRM) care invited to submit their research.
As the UK’s only event bringing together the full spectrum of CVRM care under one roof, it offers researchers a unique opportunity to showcase innovative projects, case studies and original research to thousands of specialists from across the field.
Successful submissions will be displayed in the Poster Zone throughout the event, providing a platform to share best practice, spark discussion and gain recognition among multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Abstracts are welcomed across the conference’s key themes, including prevention and population health, integrated care and service transformation, obesity, nutrition and lifestyle medicine, digital innovation, data and technology and patient-centred care and health inequalities.
Submissions focusing on cardiovascular health, kidney health, diabetes and metabolic health, advanced treatment and innovations and clinical research and emerging evidence are also encouraged.
The deadline for poster submissions is midday on Friday, September 4, 2026. For more guidance and to submit a poster entry, visit https://www.cvrmprofessionalcare.uk/poster-zone.
Matt Hodgins, Event Director for CVRM Professional Care, said: “The Poster Zone is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the research and quality improvement work that is shaping patient care every day.
“We know there are outstanding projects taking place across CVRM services, and we want to give those individuals and teams a platform to share their findings, exchange ideas with peers and inspire new approaches across the wider healthcare community.”
He added: “Whether you are presenting original research, a service evaluation or an innovative case study, we encourage you to submit your abstract and be part of the conversation.”
Taking place on October 20 and 21 at Olympia, London, CVRM Professional Care will unite clinicians from across specialties to share knowledge, tackle shared challenges and shape the future of long-term condition management.
Dr Kevin Fernando, Portfolio GP with an Extended Role in Diabetes, Dr Lisa Anderson, Consultant Cardiologist, and Dr Andrew Frankel, Consultant Physician and Nephrologist, are among the first speakers confirmed for the conference.
CVRM Professional Care will bring together diabetes, cardiovascular, renal and metabolic specialists in one place, with four high-impact theatres spotlighting: prevention, innovation, therapeutic advances and integrated care pathways.
Organised by CloserStill Media, CVRM Professional Care is the UK’s largest event focused on the holistic care and management of long-term conditions.
