Countdown underway to the first Obesity & Weight Management Alliance Conference 2026

With only seven weeks remaining until the first conference in the 2026 Obesity & Weight Management Alliance UK and Ireland series, healthcare professionals are encouraged to secure their place at this free, CPD-accredited educational event.

Chaired by Professor Melanie Davies CBE, a global leader in diabetes and weight management research, the conference series is designed to empower healthcare professionals with the latest evidence, practical insights and real-world strategies to enhance obesity care.

The expert speaker line-up brings together some of the most influential voices in obesity and metabolic health, including Dr Michael Crotty, Professor Carel le Roux, Professor Alex Miras, Dr Dimitris Papamargaritis, Professor Wasim Hanif and Dr Louisa Herring.

Across the UK and Ireland, attendees will benefit from high-quality, accessible education focused on improving outcomes for people living with obesity, while earning valuable CPD at no cost.

Event Manager Emily Mayhew said: “With the first conference just weeks away, we are thrilled with the number of registrations we have received so far. These events offer a unique opportunity to learn from leading experts, exchange ideas and strengthen obesity care across the UK and Ireland.”
