Webinar to launch new network improving cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic care

A free, educational webinar for healthcare professionals will take place next month to officially launch The CKM Collaborative (formerly CVRM UK).

Taking place at 7pm on Thursday April 30, 2026, the webinar – Advancing Cardiovascular, Kidney and Metabolic (CKM) Medicine: Insights and Innovations for the Future – marks the beginning of an exciting new initiative aimed at transforming care for people living with CKM conditions.

CKM conditions are closely linked, yet guidelines often use a single condition model of care. Despite advances in therapy, this siloed approach can complicate the patient journey and potentially lead to adverse outcomes and challenge.

The webinar will explore a vision for the future of CKM care, calling for integrated, evidence-based therapies, personalised approaches supported by technology, early diagnosis, lifestyle interventions and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the CKM syndrome, learn how to break down silos in care delivery and explore the core components of high-quality, holistic CKM management.

Each session will also include a live Q&A, providing the chance to engage directly with expert clinicians and bring the discussion into practical, everyday practice.

The CKM Collaborative is a professional community dedicated to improving outcomes across the cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic spectrum. Its mission is to promote a person-centred, integrated approach to care, bridge the gap between clinical evidence and real-world practice, support innovation in speciality training and service delivery and empower clinicians, educators and healthcare partners alike.
