National obesity conference: Just four weeks to go

With just under a month until the inaugural Obesity & Weight Management Alliance conference, anticipation is mounting for an educational event that promises to equip UK healthcare professionals in tackling the nation's obesity crisis.

Formed in response to the alarming surge in obesity rates across the UK and the significant health risks associated with this, the Alliance aims to address these challenges head-on.

At the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leading organisations offering transformative products and services – from cutting-edge treatments to innovative lifestyle interventions, delegates will gain invaluable insights into the latest advancements in obesity management.

Event Manager Emily Mayhew said: “Our goal is to provide healthcare professionals with access to resources and expertise that can truly make a difference in the lives of people living with obesity.

"We are thrilled by the overwhelming response from delegates who have already signed up to be part of the event. The benefits of attending extend far beyond the conference itself, offering attendees the chance to expand their knowledge, network with peers, and contribute to a community dedicated to healthcare innovation."

In addition to connecting with industry leaders, attendees can immerse themselves in symposiums designed to deliver free education and practical advice on best practices in the field of obesity management. From evidence-based interventions to emerging trends, the conference promises a wealth of learning opportunities for healthcare professionals at all levels of expertise.

The conference, organised by Orange Juice Communications, will take place at the National Conference Centre Birmingham on Friday, May 17.

Entry to the conference is free but places must be booked in advance at http://tinyurl.com/5n8fbdjs
